Linda Goodman

Dr. Linda is originally from Australia, moving to Canada to attend school.  She settled in Toronto, Canada while raising her three boys, along with her dog, Dexter.

While in Canada, Dr. Linda established several medical diagnostic and rehabilitation companies, and was very fortunate to work with Dr. Julius Kane, a world leading expert in medical mycology.

When her boys reached university levels, Dr. Linda decided to combine her love of animals and medicine – and applied to Veterinary School, where she was Valedictorian of her graduating class.  She fell in love with Cayman and was thrilled to be offered a position at Cayman Animal hospital after completing her clinical year in the USA (University of Georgia).

Her boys, now adults, are practicing Law and Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Linda strongly believes in education and giving back to the community, volunteering with non-profit organizations (children with special needs, women’s shelters, humanitarian/relief organizations), in many different capacities – serving on the Board of Directors for community associations, as an instructor in competitive kickboxing/kung-fu and karate, and raising 100k funds yearly in rollerblades. (She often wishes she had rollerblades while working in the clinic!)

Dr. Linda’s professional passions focus on Parasitology, Preventative Care and Pain Management. She strongly believes in community awareness and educating her clients, which in combination with the highest quality medical care, ensures her patients and clients receive the best and most appropriate veterinary care for their furry family members.
